“Used the Max Energy on Stage 1 and 2 prior to installing my lift kit and 37’s and I couldn’t tell much difference with Stage 1 over stock. When I went to Stage 2 I noticed the truck accelerated better, and once the RPM’s get over 2000 the Max Energy really kicks in. Put the lift and 37’s on and bumped the programmer to Stage 3. It made a big difference. The truck accelerates better than it did with stock/stage 1/stage 2 and 33″ tires. I am very impressed with the ease of installation and the ability to adjust your speedometer for different tire sizes. I would definitely buy this product again!”

You know, I have to tell you, I really enjoy this blog and the insight from everyone who participates. I find it to be refreshing and very informative. I wish there were more blogs like it. Anyway, I felt it was about time I posted, I�ve spent most of my time here just lurking and reading, but today for some reason I just felt compelled to say this.
Great product, would recommend it to anyone looking for better performance for their Dodge or Ford pickup.
just got the new max energy for Christmas. programed my 1997 f 350 7.3 in about 10 minutes. i went to stage 3 instantly and power gains were impressive to say the least. almost 0 turbo lag and throttle response was instantaneous. made my 7.3 with 190,000 miles on it feel better than new. i can feel the power the stroker should put out. highly recommend hypertech max energy for all older fords as the market caters to 1999 and newer.
GOT THE HYPERTECH MAX ENERGY FOR MY 2008 6.4 POWERSTROKE. GREAT PRODUCT, NOT MUCH IMPROVEMENT IN FUEL MILEAGE. CAN’T REALLY TELL TOO MUCH DIFFERENCE IN STAGE 1 OTHER THAN THE SPEED LIMITER BUT IN STAGE 2 AND 3 YOU CAN FEEL THE POWER JUST COMING OUT. GREAT TOWING TOOL TOO, GIVES YOU THE EXTRA POWER YOU NEED TO GO UP HILLS AND TO PASS OTHER CARS. I SPUN MY TIRES WHILE PULLING A 11,000 LB TRAILER. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. I JUST HOPE THEY MAKE A CHANGE AS FAR AS THE FUEL SAVING GOES.
