There’s no question that Hypertech knows how to extract more power out of engines. Their tricky engineering allows for big gains and safe tunes. In this video, you’ll see a 2007 Dodge 2500 pull an extra 59 horsepower and 214 ft-lbs of torque! To get the final dyno numbers, you’ll have to watch the vid.

“Put in a 2006 5.7Hemi and bumped the gas mileage up about one to two mpg.”
Dwayne H. – 1999 Ford F-250 (Boise,ID)
“I have a 99 F250 7.3 diesel, w/ 112K miles. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the changes the Max energy made to its operation !!! I’ve gained 2MPG, the engine runs so much smoother I still am amazed at it. But the biggest change is in the operation of the transmission !! The Max Energy programmened in firm shift points that has made the tranny respond like it is a light truck!! I’m very glad I made the purchase and would highly reccommend the Max Energy to any one !!!”
This quick clip has everyone’s favorite fisherman, Bill Dance! He’s talking about a MPG increase by using a Hypertech Max Energy E-Con programmer. He got a 3 MPG increase on his truck and others have reported increases up to 6. Take that high gas prices!
As a follow up to last weeks post, here is a copy of the dynograph from the Nissan Titan that was run on Hypertech’s dyno. As you can see, it made more power across the board with final gains on premium gas being +23 horsepower and 21 more ft-lbs of torque. On regular gas, the gains were +19 horsepower and 17 ft-lbs of torque.
The stock dyno numbers were 262 horses and 312 ft-lbs of torque. Final numbers for the Nissan Titan with the Hypertech Max Energy on premium gas was 271 horsepower with 321 ft-lbs of torque, while on pump gas it produced 267 horsepower and 317 ft-lbs of torque.

“TURNED MY F-250 INTO A TRUE BEAST.NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERANCE IN POWER.”
John C. – 2006 Ford F-250 (Minneola,FL)
“Before purchasing the programmer, I contacted the Tech Services department to ask some questions about what I could expect performance wise. I explained that I use my Ford F-250 6.0 diesel primarily to haul an enclosed trailer and was mainly interested in fuel mileage since my truck already has plenty of towing power. I was told I could expect 2 – 3 MPG improvement on the Stage 3 setting. Well, I have driven my truck for about two tankfulls around town and about two tankfulls towing my trailer and have seen about 4 MPG increase whether around town or towing on the road. Obviously I couldn’t be happier (well maybe if I was getting double the previous mileage!) wih the performance improvements I am seeing. At this rate and near $5/gallon, the Hypertech Max Energy Programmer will pay for itself in about 3000 miles!”
Gary K. – 2008 Chevy Suburban (Houston,TX)
“Wow! This is what I would say is a wake up call! Strong results, good shift quality, torque is very noticable. The install takes about 10 minutes. I have used previous Hypertech programs and this one is the easiest to install. It is kinda scary when you program because it activates alot of the systems and you don’t know what is going on! In the end, everything functions just fine! Way to go Hypertech, just like I thought it would be…….. With the new exhaust, cold air, and program we’re in the 400hp range and 18+ mph on the road.”
